Graduate Student Travel Awards for 2026
The Southern Conference on British Studies (SCBS) offers two $500 travel awards for graduate student research in 2026. Graduate Students who presented papers at one of our last two meetings (the 2024 Conference in Kansas City and/or the 2025 Conference in Saint Pete Beach) are eligible to apply. Please submit a two-page (maximum) description of your project and the specific research to be conducted using the grant, as well as a copy of the paper read at our annual meeting, to Jill Bender (jcbender@uncg.edu) by March 31, 2026. The winners will be announced by April 30, 2026.
